'Miracle' Mikuru Suzuki came through a tough field in the FIDO Online Cup to take the title in emphatic style.
Earlier rounds saw Suzuki take a 3-0 win over Yuki Yamada followed by a 3-2 victory against Jun Matsuda, who had earlier registered a 107 average to progress in the tournament, before facing the three-time PDC World Championship qualifier, Seigo Asada in the final.
Suzuki was dominant from the off, beating the six-time PDC Asian Tour winner four legs to nil with a 96.64 average, marking her first steel-tip open tournament win.
Suzuki took to Twitter after her win to express her thanks for the support she had received.
