The headline event of the INDO's Killarney Festival of darts went to Anastasia Dobromyslova as she took the Irish Open with a 5-4 ensuring herself a place in the 2022 WDF Lakeside Women's World Championship.

Dobromyslova's win denied Deta Hedman her 220th career win, as she defeated the England captain 5-4 in the final. A long win coming for Dobromyslova, who made the final stages of several tournaments this season, the win pushes her up to World Number 2 in the rankings.
Dobromyslova saw off a strong challenge from Sweden's Vicky Prium in the quarter-finals, before whitewashing the Denmark Open Champion, Anca Zijlistra 4-0 in the semi-final.
Hedman's route to the final included a quarter-final win over Lorraine Hyde; a match that also saw a last-leg decider before meeting Jo Clements in the semi-finals. winning through four legs to nil.
The WDF Silver-ranked tournament, The Irish Open saw Saturday's runner-up Deta Hedman take the spoils on her 62nd birthday.
It was Corrine Hammond who felt the sharp end of Hedman's arrows, as she lost 4-2 in the final. Hedman beat rising Irish star Robyn Byrne 4-2 in the semi-final, whilst Hammond was embroiled in a close match with Vicky Pruim, winning through 4-3.
